For this discovery exercise you are going to add an image to your blog. Don’t worry, it doesn’t have to be your own picture. Many bloggers take an unusual picture of themselves, maybe the back of their head, their hand, an elbow. Some even add images that represent themselves, maybe an animal, a plant, a cartoon character or maybe even something that nobody really knows what it means. The options are endless.
I do want you to have a go at using the digital camera and adding an image, so if you decide not to take one of yourself then take a picture of something else in the workplace and add that somewhere on your blog. You can then choose what image you want to have for your profile.

Discovery Exercise:
1. Using the library digital camera take a picture. Maybe work in a group; remember this is supposed to be about having fun as well, it’ll also make it easier working out the following steps.
2. Transfer the pictures from the camera to the shared drive.
3. Add them to your blog by using Blogger’s photo upload feature.
4. On the progress chart include the permanent link to the post that has your image.
PS: A quick word about photo posting etiquette - When posting identifiable photos of other people (especially minors) it is advisable to get the person's permission before posting their photo in a publicly accessible place like Flickr (which you will be discovering in the next Thing). Never upload pictures that weren't taken by you (unless you have the photographer's consent) and always give credit when you include photos taken by someone else in your blog.
